Moans about big companies

Is it me or are BT just so bad?
Yesterday I get a call from BT sales offering me £2 a month off my broadband subs, with the great news that this includes a load of stuff that they know I don't need. Like increased usage allowance, free wifi minutes etc etc. Surely they know that I don't use what I already have in my current package? And all I had to do to get this great deal was commit to a 12 month contract.
What really annoyed me though was that it was clear the caller had no record of my history with BT in front of them. If they had they would have seen record of a pretty bad complaint about service from them I made towards end of last year. This complaint did not end with me and BT kissing and making up and it is only a laziness on my part that I am still with them!
So please please please big companies, if you are going to phone me up, without me asking, take a bit of time to equip your people with some history of our relationship. If the caller had referenced my complaint, asked how things had been since and then talked about a deal where I commit time for a reduced cost I would have respected them so much more.
